Teen Parent Unit

At Grown Together, we believe in the transformative power of education. We recognise that young parents face unique challenges, which is why our Teen Parent Unit offers comprehensive support specifically designed to address their needs and empower them on their parenting journey.

Through personalised guidance, access to essential resources, and a nurturing community, our Teen Parent Unit cultivates resilience and equips young parents with the tools they need to navigate the complexities of parenthood successfully.

Our unit caters to young parents between the ages of 15-23. Operating from Tuesday to Thursday, from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM, enrolled students will have the opportunity to pursue their NCEA Level 1, 2, and 3 qualifications through Te Kura. Additionally, on-site childcare services will be available to facilitate their studies, ensuring that young parents can focus on their education with peace of mind.

Moreover, we are committed to providing wrap-around holistic support by collaborating closely with other support agencies. This ensures that our young parents receive comprehensive assistance tailored to their individual needs, fostering a supportive environment conducive to growth and success.
